Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum
In 2002, a group of passionate individuals, driven by a shared commitment to preserving Maine's paper industry history, came together to establish the Maine Paper & Heritage Museum. Their vision was to celebrate the cultural heritage of the paper-making towns and mills along the Androscoggin River. The museum's mission is two-fold: to offer an engaging, interactive experience that immerses visitors in the life of a paper-making community, and to play a pivotal role in promoting tourism, boosting economic activity, and showcasing the region's unique heritage.
